    What phone do you have?

Okay, I gotcha! I didn't realize you were a newb for android. So I dislike the newer GalaxyUI's I don't find them intuitive, probably because I am old, and have reached a point where change, purely for new shininess, is annoying. Nova Launcher is an app that completely changes the UI in Galaxy, there are a variety of options, I run the one that makes my phone look like the older Galaxy S3 and S4. If you are coming from apple products you might like the new Galaxy UI. I can't really say either way. I will say this though, the Android is almost fully customizable, you just have to be willing to do the legwork to find how to do it.

  4. Yep! They spend months hyping up games and receiving money for paid priority placements plastered all over the site and then give these games medicore review scores contradicting all the publicity the said games received previous. I remember when the videogame media was in the gamers interest but IGN are only in it for the money cutting deals with publishers and grabbing clicks. Back in the day, if a game was shit, it got no publicity no matter how big the brand or who the publisher was. Now whoever pays them with whatever product; it gets publicity guaranteed. Glad they got held to account for this review debacle though - it's only a small consolation but it fuels distrust to the IGNorant people who still swear by them.

We’ll spend heavily on the next big stars and now have fuck all to show for it cause buying big stars wont get you fuck all if you can’t make them play together. It’s gonna be amazing. #MakeArsenalGreatAgain" Can’t see it playing out well. I’d rather want Stan gone...

  10. I managed to miss another D&D session but I'm lucky Sam the GM enjoys writing a synopsis for those that couldn't make it. So Andy and Phil and update for you both. After a long rest at the drow encampment during which time Tom stole the dark elf mage’s shoes, and Andy found a magical panther statuette, the guys investigated the area discovering a cavern that led down to the underdark, to a Drow household. The guys decided wandering around in the underdark was probably not a good idea but Tom, being the klepto he is swiped 3 of the phosphorous mushrooms growing nearby. The team ventured out of the drow encampment following the coastline to the port town of Mason. When they arrived it was nighttime and the guards were under orders to not allow anyone in (except if bribed). Tom managed to convince the guard the dark mage shoes were magical. He was pleased and allowed passage into Arnoch. The team, having been travelling for 2 days went to the local tavern to get a room and food. The tavern, The One Horse Open Sleigh run by Helga, was busy everyone ordered food and drink. Tom spotted some sailors playing dice in the corner and joined in. Turns out they were loaded dice. Tom managed to swipe them and sneak off. The team had a discussion with a locale who they overheard talking about the St Anne being hijacked by pirates and taken to Ship Wreck Cove. Meanwhile Paul spotted a rich looking merchant in the corner eating. Patrick used his magic to create a small disturbance knocking the merchant’s drink over. Paul fluffed the pickpocketing and the merchant wasn’t too happy, threatening Paul with a butter knife. Paul swiped it causing the merchant to draw his sword. He struck Paul. Happy he’d drawn blood he offered a truce. Paul wasn’t having any of this and decided to throw a severed drow head at the guy (they cut the head off the mage). He missed and the head rolled into the corner. Tom tried to diffuse the situation by staggering into them ‘drunk’ then throwing himself onto the table. The table collapsed and the man’s food was sent flying. Paul hit the merchant. Two town’s guardsmen approached to break up the fight. Patrick, being a priestly cleric, managed to convince them the fight was started by the merchant who was dragged off. Helga, not too pleased with the mess and destruction demanded payment for the damages. Paul gave 2 gold pieces. Helga was happy and offered to let them break another table. Everyone retired to the room (only Patrick sleeps as you’re all elves). In the morning after breakfast, the team decided to visit the marketplace. Tom, wanting to flog his phosphorous mushrooms went to the alchemist. The Korean gnome greeted them. After haggling the gnome was only interested in buying them if Tom brought him 500 by tomorrow. Tom wasn’t happy and pushed over a display on his way out. They went to the nearby blacksmiths, Paul bought some throwing daggers. Tom tried to dazzle and amaze the smith into a good deal by producing a magical glowing mushroom. The only problem, the mushrooms only glow slightly and it was broad daylight next to a roaring fire. The dwarven smith was not impressed. The team then got an Uber carriage to South Ridge (where the cave was). It took 2 days (they got back roughly a week after they left to investigate the drow encampment). As they approached they could smell burning and arrived to find the whole town burnt to the ground with fires still raging. Everyone was dead. Tom, distraught about Florin’s death, stole his shoes. They noticed a huge trail leading out of the mines, as though something big had been dragged out of the mines. They followed to find the cave stripped of all the crystals and the silvery liquid gone. Leaving only a big well like hole. From behind them approached a high elf called Azreal. He claimed to be the guardian of he cave. He’d been there for 200 years protecting it from discovery; however roughly a week ago he’d had to leave for supplies only to come back to a defiled cave. He warned that great evil had been unleashed and wasn’t convinced when the team demanded he help them as he ‘failed in his job’. He disappeared into the shadows. The guys followed the trail from the cave back out. Tom then decided to break into the remnants of the keep (which was still burning). He ran in looking for stuff to loot and fell through the weakened floor. He landed in a room where some money was stored a bit injured. He grabbed 33 gold pieces and a ruby before he place started to collapse around him. He took more damage. They left the town to follow the trail that was leading to Arnoch (the main citadel). They didn’t get far before a group of 10 knights from the citadel rode up to investigate the distraction. Initially they thought the team were the cause until they were shown the drow head and told about Hayder’s mission for them. The knights agreed to escort them back to Arnoch, but first they needed to rest. Everyone started a long rest when they were interrupted by a roaming band of 10 orc worg riders and a chieftain. Combat ensued. One knight was killed by a surprise arrow to the neck. The guys put up a good fight, with support from the knights killing all the orcs. Another Knight fell in combat and the pitiful orc chieftain, barely put up a fight being killed pretty quickly.

  11. Slight delay on me making a video. I spent last week streaming STALKER on Twitch with various audio adjustments. Really wasn’t happy with the sound of my voice. First it was too low in volume and then too distorted. So, after listening back to the streams, I decided that the quality of the headphone mic was simply not up to the job. So now I’m finally using my Astro A50s. I had a quick test yesterday and the difference is like night and day. Should have used my Astros ages ago, silly boy. Plan on having a STALKER video ready by 18 August, sooner if I have time.

  12. Meanwhile, in the home of footballs pantomime villain...... Newcastle United players are refusing to co-operate with the media in a dispute with the club over bonuses. Players did not make themselves available to rights holders on Monday for 'walk-up shots' which are used by TV companies when showing starting line-ups before matches. And the Magpies squad refused to carry out post-match interviews after two recent pre-season friendly defeats. Newcastle start their Premier League campaign at home to Spurs on Saturday. Players declined to speak after last Saturday's 1-0 home loss to FC Augsburg and the 4-0 hammering at Braga on Wednesday. It is understood they have failed to reach agreement with club owner Mike Ashley over performance-related bonuses After the Braga defeat, Newcastle manager Rafael Benitez said the club's fans "need to be concerned". "Things are not going well off the pitch and you can see a reflection of that on the pitch," he said. Players have indicated the dispute is with the club and is "nothing personal" towards the media. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/45091145

  13. Looks like it’s finally happening.... Arsenal's majority shareholder, Stan Kroenke, has made a £600m offer to buy the whole of the club in a deal that would value the Gunners at £1.8bn. The American billionaire owns 67% of Arsenal through his company KSE, which says Alisher Usmanov has agreed to sell his 30% stake in the club. A KSE statement says taking the club private will help to further Arsenal's "strategy and ambitions". The buy-out announcement was made to the London Stock exchange on Tuesday. The statement added: "KSE's ambitions for the club are to see it competing consistently to win the Premier League and the Champions League, as well as the major trophies in the women's senior game and at youth level. "Under KSE's stewardship since 2011 the club has invested in major transfers, player contracts, analytics, senior non-playing football management employees, building the club's global brand and fan-base, and the stadium, training facilities and club offices. "KSE expects the club to build on those investments and to continue to invest in London Colney and Hale End to ensure the club stays at the cutting edge of sporting high performance through player preparation, training, conditioning and youth development." http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/45094538

  14. TP Link seem to be the value for money ones as I have them so hopefully no more problems? Just remember that you may have to switch them off every now and again just like your router to reset the signal.

  15. Yep, I agree with you on Gayle. I thought he was their top goalscorer? They need as much help as they can get because they've just sold the mighty Adam Armstrong to Blackburn on a 4 year deal! I'm extremely happy right now that we got him. We just need to get back Harry Chapman from Middlesbrough and it'll be a super Transfer Window for us!

  23. I don't understand Samsungs need for the curved edges. They are annoying more than anything. I enjoy the phone to be honest, but I had to do several things on it to get it where its actually okay. disable/ remove as many Bixby services as I could Download the Bixby Button remap app. Then I changed the Bixby button to open up my camera. Download Nova Launcher and get it set up. Once I did those, it is actually an amazing phone. Bixby is the biggest issue I have with Samsung products though. They really need to just stop trying to force people to use it. I also picked up a Samsung Gear S3 frontier. Which is absolutely amazing!

  24. I can’t say I know of any to specifically recommend as it depends on what comes up for sale. All I can say is go for a branded one and not some cheap one. I had a cheap one when I first started but it wasn’t all that stable and it has quite limited adjustment. My current one was about £60 new and is far more stable and much better quality. I’m more towards specific photo trips though where possible I’ll always take my camera just in case.

  26. There's a pretty basic and solid gameplay for success based on certain plants that really take a lot of the worry away. In Spring save as much money, forage everything, plant some basic stuff until the egg festival and blow all of your money on Strawberry seeds. Strawberry – 500 gold profit per crop // Obtained during Egg Festival (Spring 13th) Save up all of your profits, invest in the next watering can and Blueberries are your summer crop. Blueberry – 880 gold profit per crop // Purchased at Pierre’s General Store Fall is a little different, you buy a rare seed/ obtain a rare seed and save it until you can get the "seed maker" then you are just mass producing these seeds. The main crop to plant however is going to be Cranberry. Rare Seed – 2000 profit per crop // Purchased at Gypsy Wagon Cranberry – 1101 profit per crop // Purchased at Pierre’s General Store Winter is about mining and if you can get the greenhouse in year one, which is hard to do you go rare seed nuts inside of it.

  28. Oh I very well may have to get back to this! I keep starting a new farm but always end up giving up, not because I found the game boring but because I felt I kept making mistakes along the way, and wasn't earning enough money from what I was doing.

    Console Emulators

Thread just reminded me I need to get back to sorting this out. Lost everything not long ago when I reinstalled Windows. I tend to emulate as I don't have the room to store a bunch of old systems. We do have old systems like N64, SNES, SEGA Saturn, MegaDrive (might have missed some) but they are all stored away at my dads house, hoping to set them all back up when / if I ever get the room. I do have a GameGear though that I like to still game on, would like to try get some more games for it also at some point.
